I am an Assistant Professor in the Pharmacy Practice Department, Adult Medicine Division at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC SOP). After receiving my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from TTUHSC SOP in 2014, I completed a 24-month Pharmacotherapy residency at the same institution. My practice site includes medical, cardiology, and surgical intensive care units. I precept pharmacy students in their 3rd and 4th years of school and teach in various courses including infectious diseases. My research interests include improving care for critically ill patients with an emphasis on infectious diseases and cardiology. I have been involved in TSHP for 8 years and currently serve as the PSHP chapter president.
My personal hobbies include reading, traveling, and cooking. My ideal retirement job would be to open a restaurant after learning cooking skills from all over the world!
